Hilton Head Kids Activities - Our Favorites

Hilton Head Island was voted one of the worlds most family-friendly resort destinations, boasting an array of assorted family fun activities perfect for creating memories that last a lifetime.

 

With so many options to choose from, selecting the best activity can be a daunting task; here are our favorite kid-friendly activities in which to partake while vacationing on Hilton Head Island.

 

Kids Camp - Outside Hilton Head Kids Camp features an introduction to kayaking, beach combing and outdoor games
Dolphin Cruises – The Coastal Discovery Museum offers many options for cruising around searching for the friendly mammals that grace our waters.
Miniature Golf – Adventure Cove offers two mini parks, Lost Lagoon and Paradise Falls, where you can weave through tunnels and cross over waterfalls on swing bridges.
The Sandbox – An interactive museum that is designed specifically with kid’s fun and education in mid.
The Art Café – Perfect for rainy days, this paint-your-own-pottery place is full of hundreds of items for you to paint.
Kayaking – Weaving throughout the marshes in a calm waters allows kayakers the opportunity to get up close and personal with nature, sight dolphins at eye level and learn about the natural aspects of the island.
Jet Skiing – Up to three people can slice through the water at over 65 mph. Although you have to be 16 years old to drive solo, kids have the perfect opportunity to drive with adults riders, steering through the safe waters of the Intracoastal Waterway and Broad Creek.
Sea Pines Fun for Kids – Have a day of kids filled activities including crabbing, swimming, hay rides, playground adventures, petting zoos, boat rides and much more.
Fishing – Charter fishing tours leave from all major marinas on Hilton Head Island and are one of the island’s most exciting activities. Spend the afternoon on the water catching everything from Black Tip Sharks to Sting Rays.
Golf School - What better place than Hilton Head Island, home of over two dozen golf courses, to learn how to play golf? Kid’s golf camps generally last a couple of hours and are offered at Old South Links, Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines Golf Club specifically designated for groups of children.

 

Located at the southern most point of South Carolina, Hilton Head Island is a perfect spot for families of all sizes.
